RPEL Office Information

The office will be closed for the summer beginning Thursday, June 17th  and will reopen Tuesday, August 17th.  If  you have information needed for enrollment of you kindergartner, you may fax it to the office at 744-2815.  We wish you and your family a safe and relaxing summer.

Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program will be held Monday -Thursday during the following weeks:

July 5-8, July 12-15, July 19-22, July 26-29, Aug. 2-5, Aug. 9-12

Kindergarten/First Grade – 9:00-10:30

Second, Third and Fourth Grades – 10:30-12:00

Call the elementary office for more details.

Class Placement

Your child’s class placement for next year will not appear on their report card in June this year.  You will receive a letter in August with your child’s teacher name as well as information on Kindergarten Orientation and Open House.

End of Year Housekeeping

Please check the lost and found for any items your child may have lost during the year.  We will not keep any items after school is done.

If your child takes medication or has an inhaler at school, please pick it up on the last day of school.  Any medication not picked up by June 10 will be properly disposed of.

UpComing Field Trips

With the end of the year fast approaching, we have many classrooms out for field trips.  Below are the classrooms and the dates and times they will be out.

June 3rd:  3rd Grade to Northway Lanes 9:45-12:15 and from there over to Riverside Park until 2:30.

June 4th:  4th Grade to White Pine Village 9:00-2:00.

June 4th:  Kindergarten to Riverside – Klimsza (9:30-12:30, will have lunch.  Treder and VanPelt (9:30-11:30 no lunch). Duiser (1:00-3:15).

June 7th:  1st Grade to Riverside (11:30-2:00)

June 8th:  2nd Grade to Riverside – Brainard and Wahlberg (11-2:30), Thill (10:40-1:45), and Shafer (10:00-2:30 revised from earlier)

June 9th:  4th Grade to Riverside – Krukowski (9:00-10:45), Hulbert and Stolzman (9:00-11:30)

Track and Field

Reading Month

March is Reading Month.  Our theme this year is Outdoor Adventures.  The halls have come alive with walking trails, Camp Office, Camp Nurse,  and Camp Counselor.  Students have a calendar with daily reading activities centered around the camping theme.  Tim Smith, author of The Buck Wilder Series, will be presenting an assembly on March 30.

Kindergarten Round-Up

Reeths-Puffer Elementary is excited about Kindergarten Round-Up!! The big event will be on Thursday, February 25th. Welcome and registration will begin at 5:30, the program will begin at 6:00 in our cafeteria. Parents will be able to meet the kindergarten staff and see the classrooms after our program. We would like to welcome our future ROCKETS!! This is a parents only event but if you do bring your kids our Little Rockets Daycare program will be available, free of charge.
