Tomorrow is pajama day in celebration of wrapping up our reading month. Students may also bring a beach towel or small blanket to sit on during our all school showing of A Bug’s Life.
We will have two exciting field trips in March. The first one will be on Tuesday, March 13. We will be going to the North Muskegon Library with Mr. Grant’s class. A $2 donation would be appreciated to cover the cost of the bus.
The second field trip is in celebration of reading month and will be to Meijer Gardens on March 22. More information about this trip will be sent home on Friday.

We are buggy about reading! Reading month will kick off Monday and the theme is Catch the Reading Bug! Your information packet is coming home with your child today. I am looking for a parent volunteer to hang caterpillar parts earned by students each week on their lockers. Someone who could help Monday afternoon or anytime Tuesday would be great. This won’t take long, but will be a great help. We will put you to work if you are able to stay longer. 
We are also looking for guest readers. Let me know if you, or someone you know, is interested.
Finally, please remember to turn in conference slips as soon as possible.

Thank you to all of the parents who donated and/or helped at our Valentine’s Day party yesterday. We had a great time playing Pin the Heart on the Octopus, making Valentine’s Day cards and bookmarks, handing out cards, learning to use chopsticks, and eating all of the yummy treats!
We received a new student last week. Please be sure to make a Valentine’s Day card for friend Dustin.

I was just informed that report cards will be sent home on Tuesday, not Monday. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Please remind your child to pack winter gear, shoes, and a snack for Monday.
