The R-PHS girls softball team has spruced up their “digs” by adding the R-P logo and name plate to their dugout.
Since taking the program over in 2008, Head Coach Trista Stingle has made it a priority for each team to “leave their mark” on their home field to build team unity and pride in the R-P softball program.
Since 2008, the following improvements have been made to the complex:
- Roll top door added to the press box
- Sound system for announcing games
- New countertops and shelving at concession stand
- Distance signs posted on outfield fence
- Team accomplishment banners proud hung on dugout
- Wood cubbies and equipment hooks in both dugouts
- 43 x 4 sign: Rocket Softball placed on outfield fence
Coach Stingle commented: “I am humbled by the willingness of so many people in this district and within the community who have given their time, money and constant support to the softball program. Thank you!”
