Five R-P football players qualified for the state power lifting meet last Saturday at Jenison High School. Gordie Blanshine, Josh Richards and Cody Pospisil qualified by taking home a 3rd place medal in their weight division. Zack Engeman took 2nd place in his weight class. Dan Barnhart took 1st place in the varsity 275 lb. weight class. Dan’s three lifts totaled 1,325 lbs.! The state meet is scheduled for March 20th at Grand Rapids Community College Good luck Rocket weight lifters!
